ST Reflection 2009 – Secondary 2NA / 2E
Term 1, Week 6 (9 Feb 09)

Question 1
What was Jack Neo's vocation when he was serving the nation?

Answer : Jack was a quartermaster, who became a platoon commander at an infantry unit . Later , he was posted to the Singapore Armed Forces' Music and Drama Company.

Question 2
"Hard work lead to success"
To what extend do you agree with this statement ?

Answer : I agree to a large extend that hard work leads to success. Hard work is normally required for anything you do in life, its a basic need if you want to succeed in life. You can take a scientist Albert Einstein for an example, his inventions or theory did not come easy, he had to go through many calculations and many thinking . People who tend to do things in a different manner other than going through hard work is basically cheating their way through everything, even if they get great results, it might not give them the satisfied looks which would show on the people who has worked hard to achieve success
